Linda Hamilton was not interested in making her face look younger when she spoke with AARP in November 2025. At 69, the actor described accepting the appearance she had earned through living, even when she did not like everything she saw.
That acceptance did not mean giving up on taking care of herself. While working on Stranger Things, she said she had physical therapy three times a week, with sessions adapted to what her body needed. The work included Pilates, yoga and weights.
Hamilton also spoke about finding a satisfying balance between her career and her life outside it. She was working, staying connected with friends and enjoying a new grandchild nearby. Her emphasis was on inhabiting the life she had, not trying to return to a younger one.
